Meet your instructor
Hi, my name is Ben Meyer and I've spent nearly half of my life in emergency services.
As a full time captain and emergency medical technician I routinely handle major emergencies and medical crises. As a fire service instructor I have spent years teaching fellow emergency service workers and volunteers how to handle any type of emergency.
My time off is spent sailing or doing any activity I can, to stay on and around the water. I developed this course to combine these passions and help other sailors learn to care for themselves, their loved ones and others miles away from land.
